At 3:59 this afternoon, I sent the following e-mail to Joe, who had just mentioned how cold and wet it felt in New York: Radar looks to have a pretty hard back edge, that’s just clearing the city now. All but the westernmost tip of Long Island is still in it, and it extends north and east all the way to Maine - but real rain should be over in NYC. You could still get some patchy drizzle. Wind appears to be more northerly than the northeast I was expecting, and a little stronger, at 15-25,
